Jordan LipofskyI try to stay out of the Hollywood Gossip blogs, but when I see paternity headlines…  I can’t help myself. Call it a weakness, if you will.

It seems as though paternity headlines often surround celebs. From Justin Bieber to the Kardashians, their lives are often the target of paternity suits. Sometimes warranted. Other times, not.

So who’s the latest culprit? Michael Jordan.

The Scoop on Michael Jordan’s Paternity Suit

A gal named Pamela Smith is claiming Michael Jordan is the father of her 16-year-old son. She filed a suit a few months ago, asking a judge to order a DNA test. Although she dropped the suit citing “legal complications,” she’s claiming she will re-file it ASAP.

TheHollywoodGossip.com reports she and Jordan “were apparently involved in the 1990s while he was still married to his first wife Juanita, something MJ has not denied at any point.”

So, put two and two together – MJ could have fathered her son. There’s always the possibility. Jordan denies the claim, but it seems as though Smith is after the proof.

Luckily, great technology like paternity tests will unlock the answer and leave little to no room for dispute.

Paternity Testing Unlocks Answers

Even if you’re not involved in a famous, high-profile DNA case like Michael Jordan, you too might be facing a similar situation. Women come out of the woodwork each day and look for proof of paternity.

Luckily, paternity tests are easily accessible and reliable these days. You can order them yourselves. And if the results need used in court, facilities like ARCpoint Labs can run a court-admissible test that will stand up as proof in court.

Paternity testing is simple. It doesn’t hurt. And at ARCpoint Labs, it’s affordable.

  1. Michael Jordan is a very important public figure. Sorry to see he is having to get involved in a case like this.

  2. I don’t think that Michael Jordan would be the kind of person to not take care of something like this outside of court.

  3. I think its important to know the true father of your child, especially if that child doesn’t have another father figure in their lives.

  4. Michael Jordan isn’t the only major sports figure out there with these claims. There are plenty of average athletes out there that get suits filed against them regularly. Paternity tests are a great way to find out the truth in these cases.
